Default possible bearing noise in primary, listen?

2012 ultra limited. this chirping noise can barley be heard at idle and is loudest when rolling rpms between 1800-2400 and gets little louder with light easy throttle. otherwise inaudible. please listen to the video linked (hopefully link works. new here)
I have checked all fasteners and still there, I am planning to pulling the primary cover and check the chain tension first.

Does the noise go away when you pull the clutch in?

hard to say, but I would have to say no because I can hear it at Idle only on the video or off the bike (sitting in traffic at a light I cannot hear until 1800 rpms accelerating) . While rolling its louder between 1800-2400 RPMs, pulling in the clutch rpms go down and it not loud enough over wind and road noise. sitting still and revving does not replicate the sound. Only loudest when rolling and engaging cruising to mild throttle (low torque situations) cannot hear under high torque,.

My plan of attack is Pull the Primary cover and inspect. I am expecting that the chain Is to tight. The bike only has 17000 miles on it, therefore I am guessing it has the stock primary chain tensioner. I want to replace it with manual tensioner. upgrade the fluid and see what she does.

What are your thoughts?
reccommended fluid?
recommended tensioner?

If its still making the noise then........... maybe its a inner primary bearing or I am totally off.
Oh and I have a new clutch ready to go in.

When you look in the primary, look to see if there are any witness marks behind the ring gear on the back of the inner primary where the gear may have scraped the primary due to being pulled off center from an overtightened chain. I run the Hayden tensioner instead of HD’s, but if you want a manual tensioner then I’d go with the Baker unit. As far as fluid, I’d use Formula+ as it works well with the SE comp. What clutch are you putting in? Some clutches advise to use certain oil.

Update. I have pulled the derby cover and inspected what I could without removing the Primary cover. The chain seems to be adjusted perfectly and i got a couple pics of the Tensioner. I am not sure does this look like the original HD Tensioner. the pad from what I can tell looks good and i don't believe there is any play in the trans shaft attempted to move the clutch basket up or down and side to side. seems to bee perfect. perfect amount of Primary fluid also. trans fluid is perfect and clean also at perfect level.
I am going to rule out the possibility of the Tensioner being to tight causing problems.
but I am not yet ruling out the inner Primary bearing being bad or about to .
with Only 17000 miles hhmmmm.

All of that said what could possibly be the noise in the video above. I am still ruling things out, any guesses are welcome. Thanks.

Thanks I did find the culprit, Its the original comp, backside of sprocket has a ton of wear from the ramps. was not tight enough more than likely and oil was ugly. no chunks of metal but there was a lot
of metal dust. Ordering new Comp, IPB, shift shaft seal, chain tensioner and clutch. will have a nice fresh happy Primary soon.

If not too late, I’d suggest a Baker Compensator. I went though the OEM, and and 2 SE comps. Now have 20,000 happy miles on my Baker.
