Default Changing Gear Ratio-/want less rpm at high speeds

I have a 84 softail with 4 speed stock trans. Would like to cruise at lower rpm at higher speeds on freeway ect. Any suggestions about rear sprocket or trans ideas. Has chain drive-thanks

I am very interested in your question as well. I have grown accustomed to highway driving in my car and can only imagine i will be doing some on the bike. I thought my only option was a new 6 speed tranny.

Better yet. Do like me. 25 tooth at the trans output and 47 on the rear wheel. Works wonders for me.
