Default New Clutch Reccomendations

A few days ago, my clutch got roasted on the way home. Bummer... I was looking into getting a new clutch that would be able to keep up with a 103ci bike. Any recommendations for a heavier clutch? Just trying to keep up with the big boys... I’m the third owner of the bike and I was told it has a stage 2 kit but not sure how to confirm that. I would like to upgrade the engine and exhaust later on. Here’s what I’ve got:

07 FLHT / 55k miles / 96ci / 6 Speed / blah blah blah...

For what you are doing, I'd use a Barnett stock plate count Kevlar plates and their light / stock spring or pre 2005 tc spring. Kevlar will give you a little more bite and the barnet /stock pressure spring is about 10% heavier than a 96 ci spring.. If your hands are strong go with the 380 SE spring.

I've had good results with Energy One clutches. Unless you have a fairly strong build, their "stock" clutch pack with 8 frictions and 9 steels will be more than enough and you can keep your judder spring to keep the friction zone where you're used to. You can get their kit with Kevlar plates and (if you want) their upgraded spring for much less than Barnett. If you need more, they have +1 kits at a great price. Plus, they are a great company to work with. Give them a call. They will spend as much time as you need explaining the options.

Barnett all the way...mine felt great the first time I let it out, it grabbed crisp and clean.
