I looked up the "reduced effort clutch kit" on the H-D web site, and it doesn't list it for sporties, only TC-88, and I'm sure that is what the instructions point out. Not sure what your dealer sold you. I'd ask again. Good luck.

Thanks for the info! I found out the dealer fooked me up by telling me that. I should have known since the part was under the 'Touring' section of the parts catalog. I did buy a Muller Power Clutch for $169.99 from another local and my bike as been put back together successfully. The only problem was this shop told me I had to remove the entire primary in order to replace the part. Sold me the oil and the primary gasket so I could put things back together properly! Ugh what a waste of time. I didn't need to remove the primary just the derby cover. And I wouldn't have even needed to drain the primary drive.

Too bad you didn't check out the MRC Clutch... we give correct information and you would've paid half the price for the MRC Clutch kit than the Mueller Power clutch. Our website- www.Phaedruscycle.com
