Default Clutch upgrade for 116/116

Built the engine on my 2013 Slim this past winter and it rocks, the bike dynoed at 116/116 SAE. Stock clutch with Barnett heavy spring, there was a bit of slippage evident on the chart and I can feel a bit when I nail the throttle at times.
Gathering parts to change to a 30 tooth front pulley and figured it would be a good time to upgrade the clutch. Looking at just using the Barnett Kevlar kit. Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.
Thanks

Seems odd that you were/are getting slippage at those numbers. I am using a stock clutch pack with an AIM 340lb spring and a vpc92 and I have no issues at higher numbers than that with a heavier bike. Be somewhat wary of bandit sportsman clutch on the newer bikes as bandit recommends only 14oz of primary fluid and that will definitely hurt the compensator over time. I like my aim-vpc over the stock pack and 340 spring, its rated for 150tq and pulls super easy.

X2 on the VPC - I run that with a Barnett extra plate clutch & it locks up hard at about 1800 rpm & does not slip. I have enough motor to fishtail at 75 in 5th gear on a 5 speed. -Eastcoast Jim

After speaking to a few people locally the problem may be the fluid. I let the parts guy at the dealer talk me into SYN3 when I bought my gasket and fluid. Going to clean all that slippery stuff off when I put things back together and go back to formula+. Maybe that will solve it.

Or Bel Ray v-twin primary fluid. I like it a bit better, its a bit thinner and and seems to let the plates/discs grab a bit better and still keep the comp happy. Don't overfill.

Might try the Bel Ray, a buddy runs it and gave it good word too. Still fill to stock level....bottom edge of diaphragm spring?

On my bike it states 38 oz for a drain and refill will bring it up to the bottom of the clutch basket/ spring. It does. Bel Ray comes in a Liter bottle, 33.8 ounces. I just put the bottle in and call it good. Fill to almost the spring, maybe just before it touches the basket. A touch less is better than a touch too much.
