Default Clutch going?

The past few times i've gone riding i've had to adjust the clutch cable, now it's at the end of adjustment. The clutch is'nt slipping , and is working properly. Is my clutch on its way out? If so how hard of a job is it to replace and what do you guys recommend for a replacement stock, barnette, etc. I dont really have the cash to pay someone else nor do I trust many people wrenchin on my ride, I have'nt worked on Harleys but I am mechaniclly inclined and enjoy fixxing my own toys, so any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Default RE: Clutch going?

Have you adjusted it at the CLUTCH HUB at all???????

When doing Clutch adjustments, you ALWAYS adjust the Throw-Out rod FIRST, before you adjust the slack in the cable.....

There is a thread somewhere about the proper procedures....
