primary gasket

Default primary gasket

what gaskets work better,silicone beedded or non beeded for the primary. 1995 softail fxstc also do i just need one gasket for he primary or is there other gaskets involed. when chaging oil.

If all you are doing is changing the oil, you don't need a primary gasket at all. You should only need that gasket for the primary chaininspection cover and the derby cover. It is possible to adjust the primary chain tension without removing the primary cover, it just takes a little practice. I don't think they used o-rings on the drain plug for the 95 models, but I could be wrong. If you do have an o-ring on there, go ahead and replace that as well.

I prefer the silicone beaded style gaskets personally, but either will work fine so long as both mating surfaces are smooth and clean.
