Please say prayers for Bill. We were riding in a group of 27 or so bikes yesterday when he crossed the yellow line and side swiped a truck. He is in critical condition in intensive care with arm, leg and brain injuries, as well as kidney failure. He also had his spleen removed. He was wearing a helmet, for all who wonder.

I truly believe in the power of prayer. Thank you for your assistance.

He started to wake up and tried to talk to his sister. They had to medicate him back to sleep due to high blood pressure, but the doctor was optimistic.

Since that happened...

He has had a 7 hour surgery to repair his leg at both the hip and shin.
His arm has been repaired. They have also discovered he has a fractured collar bone.
He has no actual brain injury and his face and head swelling are going down, making him more recognizable.
He also has cracks in his spine that the doctors are not concerned about.
His blood pressure is stable.

I went today and donated blood to try and replenish some of what he must have used. Some of our other guys are doing the same.

You also be careful when riding.
