Looking for a walk through for painting my inner fairing and can't seem to find one, not even on youtube.

I've searched "inner fairing" and every time it changes my search to just "fairing".

I've painted plenty of stuff, race cars and stuff of my own but never painted plastic. I just need to know how to prep the plastic for a base coat/clear coat paint job.

Any help would be great.

It's ABS plastic I believe, just scuff it up with some fine steel wool, and wipe it with a lint free cloth that is DAMP (not dripping) with laquer thinner.

Just had mine done from someone in my MC, he charges 325.00 for any color you want. If you want to see his work PM me. Also he does it all picks up the bike takes off the inner fairing and puts it back on.
