Default Powder coat question

I have a fuel tank that has some bondo on it. Can it be powdercoated over?

Unfortunately no, it won't hold up to cure temps.

Just like magic. Thinking about new colors over the winter. Gloss black and flat black together. Just can't figure the pattern yet.

FYI, jb weld can be used to fill small dents and it will hold up to powder coating temps very well, I'd let this guys fix the dents but if not the jb works

problem with JB weld is it is only good for one coat... then it spider cracks and lifts... a good caoting job on a tank will have a coat of primer that is blocked, base, and clear that is wet sanded and buffed... 3 total coats... so JB weld would not be a good option for this type of application
