Default spray paint - where to get it.

Can anyone help me out as to where to get some paint in a spray can. The dealer won't sell my color at all, spray can or other wise. I have the paint codes from another thread so I figure I should be able to get some paint in a spray can from a paint dealer.

Who sells automotive paint? Preferably in the Calgary area.

btw, I'm going to spray my saddle bag lids and fairing lowers.

Thanks.

How far do you think an aerosol can will go? I have saddle bag lids and fairing lowers.

I would guess that one can would do the job. It depends on how many coats you use though.

It's not that expensive compared to paying a pro to do it. so I'll probably get a couple cans. Plus clear coat.

It does turn out glossy in the end doesn't it? I mean, I know it's not a professional job but is it going to more or less match in the end?

Do all the prep work and sand it with some fine paper and you should be good. If this is your first time you might want to read up on the prep work and cleaning practices. I have had real good results with this paint.

I am going to do it. They sell a video for 5 bucks and have an all inclusive kit with everything you need to prep and paint.

Thanks a lot for the help. Much appreciated.

i would say 3 cans paint, 2 cans primer, 1 can adhesion promoter, and 2 cans 2k clear (2 stage clear in a can)

In that case I might have to order some more. I just got one can each of primer, paint and clearcoat. The canadian dealer doesn't offer the adhesion stuff on their web site. I figure I can get something from a paint dealer here in town.

So I finally got around to attempting my paint job this weekend. Everything was going great, Adhesion promoter, two coats of primer, first coat of color looked great. Second coat of color the aresol ran out. I have a half a can of paint but no propellent! Now what?

Do I put on the clear coat now, or wait till I can get more paint shipped. This really sucks.
