I talked to my local powder coater and he said he could etch the chrome and powder coat over that. Does this sound right or does it need to be acid dipped? Also what powder matches the black denim best?
Don't know how it was done but I took my V & H heat shields to my coater and 50 bucks later the high temp black was a perfect match to the wrinkle black motor!

If this is a business, I would think they know what they are doing. Unworkable processes don't pay well!
