I just ordered the XCaliber Mack brushes. I'll get some one shot when the brushes arrive.

Well hell Drew, I'm not real sure how to take that.... lol, j/k

I will say that once you start to get some decent lines going, you can really feel it. I won't be ready to pull lines onto anything that I will show in public for a while, but its not something I expected to just automatically be able to do. I have always been interested in it and there is one guy here who does it. He doesn't even like to do it. I talked to him and he said to keep him posted on my progress and that he was glad I was doing it. He builds custom bikes and does some killer paint work, but doesn't have the time to devote to striping. He said if I get good enough, he will probably start sending folks my way for it...

I am also getting some Kustom Shop EZ flow paints, but mostly because they come in flats, you have to put a flattener in 1 shot

Aye bro looking good so far just work on maintaining a constant pressure on the brush, and if you want to get good practice making as close to perfect circles as possible.

So where do you get the glass to do it on? And I got some brush cleaner, I take it you rinse and clean the brushes when you are done. Do you need to oil them like with oil paints too? And ignore my comment, what I meant was that gave me the motivation that I have needed as I am such a perfectionist that I want to be able to be perfect right out of the gate and that will not happen.

You need to clean them and let them soak in paint thinner, and i used a piece of glass i bought at home depot.

I grabbed a few unused picture frames, also at a craft store, my OL got me a piece of replacement glass for a 16 x 24 frame, it has nice rounded edges. For sleaning them, with 1 shot use mineral spirits. If you clean them good enough you don't HAVE to oil them. I do anyway and I use baby oil. The paint you are using dictates what you use as a reducer.

I knew what you meant Drew, I was just joshin ya
