Default Crossbones engine color

Hi all, I'm getting my primary & derby cases powder coated this week. I'm unsure exactly what color to use though. I want to match the engine naturally, anyone know if it's "wrinkle black", "flat black" or just what? All my searches tell me is black, which any idiot can plainly see

Thanks

My Nightrain has the same wrinkle black as the primary. I do think the 'Bones has the same. I could be wrong

The engine is a wrinkle black coating. If you buy the rocker tops from hd, they match.
You are powdercoating, so its your opportunity to really give it a custom look..awsome.!!!
For some reason, my taste is to powdercoat gloss black against the wrinkle black gives a nice texture and black contrast with the denium paint.
I wish I did my outer primary powdercoat black gloss vs. going with the hd wrinkle. My upper/lower rocker tops are powdergloss black.

powdercoat gloss black would really compliment the look against that blue gloss. And... not to many have it, vs. the wrinkle black harley outer primary and derby..
What would be really tricked out, if the powdercoater could match the tins (tank, rear fender) but thats questionable???
Dam it, I sound like Im selling a dress.

The dealer has a crossbones with gloss black rocker covers and gloss black cam and primary and it looks cheap...I hafta say the wrinkle matches by far.

I went gloss black rocker, cam, primer and really think it looks good against the rest of the flat black bike.

I'm not a big Wrinkle fan... I like the idea of matching the blue...

X, I'm gonna have to agree with the fans of gloss black. I wouldn't say that for every bike, but looking at all you've done, I think gloss is called for. IMO. Bike looks great..

I went ahead and bought the wrinkle black covers from HD. They are almost a perfect match to the natural finish of the engine castings.
