Does anyone know how to separate the pieces in these Willie grips in order to get them powdercoated? Gotta separate the plastic from the metal.

 

I have also wondered about this, as the rubber inserts on mine are showing wear.
I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I left them alone; figure I'll just replace them someday with a new pair.

 

If I figure it out I’ll let you know for sure.
Just hoped someone else might have the knowledge before I risk tearing it up!

probably injection molded so it is more 1 piece than not.

 

They don’t come apart.
