Default Tank painted

Just got my tank back for my 2017 Harley 48. Body guy said I can wax it. True? If so what type of wax?

I'd wait at least a month before waxing it,then, any automotive wax will do.

You can wax new paint. Wax allows it to gas out still. Sealants or coatings, no.

You can,but why risk scratching it,while it's still curing?

If the paint was that soft it should have never been handled or left the paint room.
Wax doesn't have abrasives in it so wax won't scratch paint period. If the paint is not clean and you wax then sure you could/can scratch it. But that would be user error.

Wizards makes a sealant that is safe for fresh paint. It still lets it breath. When you do wax, Collinite 845 is a good way to go. Unaffected by the heat
