You could post pictures and the experts of old iron will give you good honest advise. You may just find a buyer here..Good luck..

So a few questions: 1) It is represented as all original (1,032 miles on the odo, but who knows). How to be sure?; 2) He is wanting me to sell it for $25,000 based upon what an "expert" said, but if he's asking too much, I know he'll never get rid of it. How's the market on these? 3) He is here in Portland, Oregon, and the bike is stored indoors. It DID leak out all of its oil, and I've heard this is rather common with the Panheads. To repair that (gaskets, seals, etc), how common is it to find parts, and how expensive? Thanks in advance for anyone who has any knowledge to share on this.
1. Wow, ANOTHER panhead presented to a prospective buyer as "original" with only 1K+ miles!. You seriously need to question that. Is the speedometer original equipment? If you take a pic and post it that can be proven/disproven almost immediately. A bike that is over 50 years old. That means it would have averaged only about 20 miles a year! About the only more used and mis-represented term out there is 'restored to original condition'. As has been suggested (and I would add that it is 'highly' suggested), please take a bunch of pics. Start with overall shots, sides front and back and then move on to sections - front end, rear end, engine components, tranny and oil bag components. I have seen folks who actually advertised Duo-Glides with disc brakes and put in the add that this was a dealer factory installed option.

2. 25K is absolutely off the hook and outrageous even by Kalif standards where some folks still are living in the Hollywood dream world of pricing older iron. And the "expert" is whom? I would ask to see the appraisal by the "expert" and when/if there was ever an appraised value conducted. Absent that it is just someone's opinion and nothing more. Did see an original condition (including paint) 65 E-Glide go for 20K recently though, but that is the exception to the rule even though it was a fine example of an unrestored and stock bike. Market on pans appears better than Shovel and EVO models, but does not hold up to the knuckle models (knuckles seem to be avoiding the downturn in the market). Basket cases can start around 2.5-3K; running bikes can go from around 5-6K (bitsa-bikes) and seem to top out at around 12K-15K (damn near complete and original).

3. It leaked all its oil out? So for sure you can assume that right from the start oil pump will have to be serviced. Who mentioned that having ALL the oil leaking out of a pan is "common"? Been riding pans since 1970 and I would suggest it is not...merely a symptom of something like a stuck check ball. When was the last time the bike was running? Unless it is a basket case (which this is not) why would you even consider shelling out money (large sums) on something that is not in running condition?

Parts are out there, both OEM, NOS and aftermarket. How familiar are you with older iron. How are your mechanical skills. It can cost some serious greenback if you do not the requisite skill level to work on them.

Looking forward to pics if you get them.

Pic is a bit blurry but looks like a nice ride. Paint, exhaust not stock; hard to tell from the single pic but looks like some extra chrome parts not stock a well.

Detailed close ups would assist greatly...

Think you need to ask him about the mileage count.

I will look for one close to original and try and post a pic for comparison.

But bottom line is that 25K is way, way over the top
