I know this is overkill but I ordered the battery box and had a battery I could use.. The battery box was basically a battery without any guts. I had to cut the partitions out. Used a 1 inch spot facing tool to mill them out..

I also had to mill the top and make terminal plugs to hold 1 inch wide copper strips.

Well I've torn apart the wiring. It needs to completely be redone.. I was hoping that the engine would be OK but after looking at the cylinders, the engine is coming part.. Funny cross hatch..

What charging system are you using that is compatible with the lithium battery? I've always heard that the early charging systems were problematic when using a lithium battery.

You going to make your own wiring harness?


Nice job on the battery box. Keep hoping someone will design one based on the original 12-volt HD one so that it will take a higher capacity AGM or Lithium modern battery
