This Panhead is surprisingly mostly stock apart from some necessary alterations.

Not "mostly stock" but I'll bet that is a sweet ride. Like what was done to customize it...Sparto tail light, mini lamps mounted to fender, Bates style passenger seat, no front fender, meaty looking tires w/ black rims and spokes, balck and green paint combo, custom headlamp, small mirrors, looks like Dyna Tech 1.5 ohm coils (one for each cylinder), 12 volt conversion.

This would have been an interesting build to follow

interesting that it is not built like the young guys do them today - its an up scale version of the bobbers we see and help with, all the mechanicals

have one in the shop 1968 flat side - will pix and post tomorrow what the nyc metro young guys are doing

that one has arlen written all over it is a light way -

I dont like it. The tires (is it a dirt bike?), no front fender (no good with dirt bike tires), the rear fender is on an angle like they measured wrong for the strut holes. Fix those things and it would be easier on the eyes. And the way the rear seat is against the front seat looks like another miscalculation.

Who needs a front fender? That rear seat makes sure you keep them close when you are blasting down the road. The only other way to keep them close is a sissy bar.

I dont have a front fender on my 82 - the law says I have to but Ill see if I can get away without one. Its the choice of the tire and no fender that I dont like. I wouldn't fit properly on that bike with someone right up against me either unless she was Raquel Welch (the 1970's version).

Real nice bike, but why make a statement about it being "stock"?!?!?!

Next you are going to say it is a 100 Point Restoration.

Cross thread points.
