Found these pics on another forum. Thought I would post for you. Bike presents well. Haven't looked at it in great detail tho. Tank badges are definitely not OEM/NOS.

The jugs are black if its a very early bike and would have parkerized head bolts but it has late fender tips and a partial chrome package which wouldn't be correct. Nice looking bike!

Picked up a sidecar for th 48 tonight, came from a hoarders estate sale and I knew the guy that bought the lot so I got first dibs on it.

Its a 1939 and was attached to his 39 originally then used on his 46 FL, painted it to match the 46 and died before putting the engine back in the bike.

Its fairly complete and the tub in essentially perfect. The interior I believe is original and kinda tired. Im waiting on two 18" rims for it which is part of the deal.

Check it out!

while i think that is very cool i am not a side car guy as they take up way too much real-estate - and a slight riding mistake stuffs it into the embankment - you wont believe the damage a moment of being to far to the right causes - yea it does not happen to everybody who owns one - reason that one is in that condition - but caution and being awake is important
