Tranny I am going to suggest is March of 53. Vent is in the case; in 56 the vent was moved to the cover. Flat cast humps on the high speed gear side. Palmers mentions that cases manufactured from March of 1953 tomid-1958 all bear the date code "3 3"
Rims looks like 7 of 49 and ? of 49 to me
Kicker cover looks like J8? (October 48). What about the underside of the tranny lid? And how about a peek under the top of the timer cover.
You definitely have a great start to a restoration you will be proud of. Hard to find something as complete and nice as you have acquired.

Same rim in both pics, the other rim I cant read it.
After going through a lot of the parts this morning I do feel like its fairly complete. The lack of a speedo is an issue though.
