The frame is primed and getting ready for paint. I wanted to get some feedback here on the proper level of sheen. I've been told semi gloss as well as gloss. Palmer says black, doesn't mention level of sheen but this pic is from his book and looks gloss to me assuming the frame and springer are the same black.

It was a hi shine semi gloss actually

the picture is a knuckle

and its on the way

I know its a knuckle but its only 1 year newer than mine, figured it was a safe bet.

Anyone have a source for the correct size front fender rivets for the main bracket? Had to remove it to restore the fender.

Colony sells the fender to fender strut rivets, even comes with the tool.

Are they 100 correct, IDK, but I have used them in the past with good results.

The heads look too large but I'll measure. I need them to be correct but the tool would be handy, thanks for the link.

Paul the info I have is the same as Architect.

Rivets are HD #0314 truss head rivets that measure 3/16" x 3/8"

I measured my NOS fender rivets and they're .335 - .340" , 3/8" is .375.
