Paul I have a request for you. In your spare time, if you get a chance ....

#1 I need a pic please of the screws and nuts (and thread size) that mount the trim to the sidecar. I am thinking it is some kind of T-bolt. Manual shows #59226-36 but no pics. Says anywhere from 16-30 used? Looked it up on the flea and there in nothing.

#2 I need measurements for the holes for the trim strips on the top front and top rear.

#3 I need measeurement for the location of the holes for the two strips that go on the outside of the tub.

Here's some pics to start. I can see if measuring makes sense but if it makes more sense to tape a sheet of paper to the side I can make a template and mail it to you.

It would seem Im missing some of the hardware. I doubt the spring clips are correct. I can take measurements of them and the acorn nuts.

The studs look to be made of brass. I'm thinking there's going to be some out there for a different application like an old car that might need to be cut down to fit the groove in the trim.

Template would be great Paul.

Those spring clips look exactly like what is used to secure the sergeants stripes on the rear fender of my 49 EL.

Those T-bolts look real close to what is used to secure the stainless trim on the front fender of my 65.

Maybe you could measure the width and length of the part that slides into the strip. Think I may have a couple of extra I could compare them to.

they look to me to be knucklehead fender trim clips - and the other later shovel front fender strip mount T bolts but we use nylock nuts and #10 machine washers and they are 10/24 thread T bolts

My sidecar is a 1939 model year so knuckle hardware makes sense. I'll measure the T bolts

Score of the day, the correct wheel for my 39 sidecar. The rim has the correct KHW and 705 stamped in it, correct spokes, nipples and the hub has the machined well around the grease nipple. Best of all it was free

And thanks John for helping me id the hub

The guy is a friend, knew what it was and that I needed it for the sidecar. I helped him land an estate deal on a 5 Harley purchase last summer.
