Default Center stand question

Hey all- looking at a 22 PA special. It has a center stand. My question is- can you use the jiffy stand/side stand/ kick stand on its own without setting down the center stand? I ask because I’m a really tall 5’6” lol.
tia.

Of course - it is an either /or decision. Cannot use both, the odd location of jiffy stand makes it impossible to leave it down when you lift onto center stand. You will want a PanAm with ARH btw.

I leave my jiffy stand down all the time. Lifting the bike onto the center stand does not interfere with the jiffy stand when in the down position.

ARH was the reason I bought the PA. I tower over you at 5-7, haha.......
My '22 had a couple of the early e-gremlins, and once and a while the ARH wouldn't lower at a light and yooozaaa, almost went down a couple times.
All since fixed.
And Navy is right, you can put the jiffy stand down and still use the center stand. the jiffy just won't be able to go back up like that.

yep, sorry I see now my error - that is why I stopped trying as it made it hard (for me at least) to pull down with jiffy down.

Default Jiffy Stand and Center stand

If you have the Jiffy Stand in the down position when you lift the bike onto the center stand, you cannot put the jiffy stand back up. You can only put the Jiffy stand up when the center stand is up.

I like using the centerstand when the ground is flat. Especially with the hard cases. It makes it very easy with the hards cases.

Additionally, On my 2024 PA CVO. I cannot start the bike when the Jiffy stand is down. In fact, if I pull to a stop and put the jiffy stand down, it kills the engine and display. So I like using the center stand for that reason also. I can start the engine or just turn it on and see the whole display without a nuisance popup about the Jiffy Stand being down. I like the center stand to check codes, or anything else, so I dont have to sit on the bike to do it.. The nuisance screen about the jiffy stand won't go away unless you put the jiffy stand back up, so you cant't see everything on the display. Also checking tire pressure often is much easier on the center stand because you can easily rotate either of your tires while on the jiffy stand. Great for working on the chain and maintainng it also.
