Quantum Fuel Pump Installed w/ Video
Without repeating what has been voiced so many times on these pages and forums, it seems fairly consistent that the fuel pump issues start with a high pitched humming at idle and while riding - more noticeable at idle of course. Should it not be addressed, the noise gets louder and it will move to the grinding sound at start up.
I recently noticed a very slight high-pitched humming from my fuel pump at idle.
I put together this video showing exactly what I did. I am by no means a Vlogger/YouTuber. Hope it helps if others are considering doing the same thing.
Finally, I put on average over 1000 miles a month on my bike, I will report back with updates. So far, so good! Quiet, smooth right through the rev range.
