I just received the A1 risers today. A quick comparison shows they will definitely push back further. Installation will have to wait til this weekend.

 

Just got the risers installed… The A1’s are the way to go for shorter riders! First time I have ridden NOT leaning forward but sitting straight up! Only down side is you cannot safely use the HD tank bag. So looking for a replacement.

 

I also recently installed the A1's on my 22 pan am and agree that they provide just enough push back and height increase to make the sitting position much better (I'm 5'7" with average arm length).

Regarding tank back options: I purchased awhile ago the Mosko Moto "Nomax Tank Bag" and it has worked out very well. It allows good adjustments to clear the gas cap areas as well as getting around mods to the handle bars. It is not as large as the HD bad but it can expand a lot (I was able to fit couple of small pizza boxes &#129299.

It has numerous compartments which is nice to help organizing stuff and even includes a 2L hydration bag.
