Full disclosure in that I've been riding HD Baggers pretty much all my life and I had an Ultra Limited prior to trading it in for a PAS last weekend. I was very comfortable wearing a minimalist half helmet while cruising around on the baggers. Well, I've been riding the PAS now for several days and really enjoying the ride. Though I have to admit I'm riding a lot more aggressively then I ever did on my baggers. After the first day I swapped over from my half helmet to a modular full faced helmet that I've had for a bit. Felt way more comfortable riding that way. Though I didn't use that modular helmet much previously in the summer as it got hot. So now I have to decide on comfort or security when the warmer months show up. Decision decisions.

So what are you ridding with helmet wise and did you change up when you got the Pan America?

 

I wear a Shoei Neotec regardless which bike I am riding (PAS or Ultra Limited).

Wife has a Modular Schubert C3 pro lite. She likes it, light, quite, quality build and discounted now at several places to $350. A real bargain on a quality helmet.

 

Schuberth C4 used on previous Ultra Limited and Tiger 800 XRT. Has the Schuberth Comms Package fitted which connected to the Pan America without any issues.
