Default Different tires

Toned it down because I'm always in the city or even delivering food on this thing. Put almost 20k miles on the stock tires so say hello to the dunlop mutants. What do you guys run with?

I'm a novice but are motorcycle tires uni-directional ?

Now the front tread pattern on the Dunlop's seems reversed from the rear tire. Is that a traction steering thing or a vibration cancelling design ?

No they are directional and have an arrow on the tire showing rotation direction.

How in the world did you get almost 20K on Stock tires? Are you extremely easy on throttle and the brakes?

I will be very lucky to get 6500 miles out of mine. Near wear bars now with just 5600 miles.

I was thinking the same thing. 20k is great on these types of tyres .

I've gotten this kind of response before and I don't understand myself. I thought I was mean enough with the bike? I lean the bike plenty and I even go onto gravel pathe often or even hit up some nice trails. I don't shred through the wilderness or burn rubber though is all I can really say?
The tread on my tires was just remarkable? The techs were all in shock but at the end there I started losing major tread life and it was just time to turn them in.

Edit; oh and I engine brake pretty much everywhere? Semi truck mentality i cant shake. My friends are always skidding everywhere for the fun of it but I could never get myself to join 😒

I'm just shocked you could get 3 times the miles out of yours I can get out of mine. I use minimal brake, mostly engine braking. I'm usually in sport mode.
