Update: these tires are pretty insane, the bike is completely different now and can corner like a madlad when its in the mood to ride. took it on some basic gravel/dirt at some land developments and they held up well! i definitely recommend them

What exactly are those? I am getting ready to mount some street tires on mine as soon as I can decide what I need. Thanks!

A little bit of everything, they're holding their own so far. I'll take them to a harsher trail one day. I needed a more street friendly tire for the things that I do with work and the bike being my primary source of transportation
They're called Dunlop Mutants

I have to say that I have found the stock tyres to be pretty damn good. I have thrown the bike around a race track on them and they worked great. Very confidence inspiring.

Right now, I have a BMW GS1250 Anakee Adventure tyre on the back. It's exactly the same as the stock tyre, just a slightly different tread pattern and $50 cheaper because there is no HD branding on it. I can't notice any difference at all between it and the stock tyre.

Want to bump this one back up.. Whats everyone running on their PA's right now? I'm at 8k with stock and its getting close to replacing for me. I'm mostly street so i'm looking for a more street oriented tire.
I've narrowed it down to 3 options
Dunlop Mutant
Karoo Street
Tourance Next 2

Honestly the Tourance Next 2 look the best but i've yet to find anyone who's mounted them on a PA. Mostly GS riders who praise them, and i have always had good success with Metz tires.

Michelin Road 6 replaced stock at 7k. Awesome handling and smooth ride. Only 1,500 miles so far, but expect them to outlast stockers by a large margin. Since bike is used as Sport Tourer, no off-road concerns.

How do you handle the tire pressure differences and the TPMS settings? Surely the Michelin tire pressures are different than stock, yes?

No, running factory PSI, 36 and 42.

Per Michelin:

RECOMMENDED PRESSURE
Follow the motorcycle manufacturer’s recommendation for COLD tire inflation pressure

Non PA Owner, but big Adv owner. I tried the Michelin Road 5s. Wonderful on dry or wet tarmac. Ok in gravel / hard dirt, dangerous in sand. Got 10K on the rear, front is 18K and still running. Went with a TKC 70 Rocks on rear (only thing I could find in Fairbanks Alaska). It is too knobby for my needs and 80% done at 6K miles. I'm considering those Dunlop mutants for 90/10 riding, Other comments appreciated.
