FYI, this is not specifically a fuel pump issue. The whining fuel pump may just be a symptom. My brand new pump is already whining again!

Based on posts in the Pan America FaceBook group, someone claims to have cured the issue by removing the small filter in the pump housing on the high pressure outlet of the pump. I will not have time to address this until the winter down time but I will continue to research the issue and a potential fix. I may figure out how to bypass that non-serviceable filter and put an inline filter in the hose coming out of the pump housing. A filter in the hose leading to the fuel rail may be a better place for it so it is serviceable without removing the tank. Stay tuned.
