With the Pan Am I'm not really looking for anything that is either just for looks or more power (its got enough). I like looking at the aftermarket pipes but they are not a priority. But, when somebody sells a mid-pipe that replaces the muffler box -- sign me up!

Harley do already. The SE pipe comes with a replacement mid pipe that replaces the big black muffler box.

That's fair, but no one buys a Madstad for esthetics.
V&H should be ashamed to advertise that thing.

:-) Nobody really buys an adventure bike for aesthetics either.
We should have a competition to see what the ugliest yet most practical thing we can hang from our bikes is....

Call me crazy, but I think the PA is the best of the lot looks-wise.
