Default Scratchy clutch

Occasionally, I get a "scratchy" feel through the clutch lever when I pull it in. It's not consistent, so difficult to isolate/locate. any thoughts?

My 2018 was hard to pull and the friction zone was very close to the end of travel. I put in a Rekluse slave and that was the best 200 I have spent on the bike. Moved the friction zone close to the bars and the pull is nice.

Happens on my bike to. I could not reproduce it when trying to find out what could be wrong. Like yours it's not consistent.

I get that on my 21 Tri glide, feels like the cable is grabbing on some ridges or such.

Drove me nuts till I realized what I was feeling, pulled the entire lever assembly apart to lube. There are two tiny switches that you can barely feel when u pull the clutch lever fully in. I swear I feel them clicking thru the lever. They are a pain to get in place again.

A week ago on a hot day during lots of city riding I was getting a scratchy clutch lever.
I thought mine was when I was letting the clutch out and the scratchiness was in the last 30% of its travel. But I cannot be certain and it may have been happening when I was pulling the clutch in.

And I think it also occurred a day or two earlier than the city ride last week.

But also it was intermittent and hadn't occurred since (temps are much cooler and not a lot of stop and go riding)

It was so pronounced I was going to do an oil change (would have been at around a 3Kmile interval).
