WTF...Raining here in the Northeast, thus I decided to install my SE Extreme Air Cleaner. I take off the air box cover and I see the below (pic). Note how the OEM AC from the factory is just lying in the air box.

I would get HD on the phone and see what they have to say and what they will do. With U-tube. Facebook and all the other places you can post this pic and story you have some power.

Would that not be more of a dealer prep issue ?

I doubt the dealer would have to pull the tank as part of the prep process.

If you're going to pull the tank, you mine as well throw the SE Extreme Ac in there.

We do have some dealership employees on the this forum. Maybe one of them will see this and respond.

You don't stop the assembly line. Pretty sad. It could have gone 10K like that.

Reminds me of my buddy's grandfather's storyline of working on a Ford production line right after WW2.

He was the door trim man. All the small screws were self threading. Aluminum interior trim. If anything hung up or a screw head stripped, door would not shut and he only had seconds to finish. So he just started using a hammer.

The line boss came along, observed what he was doing and told him good job. But, that he did need to attach the airline to his hammer and gave him a roll of electrical tape to do just that.
