Heat
I have found when going 50+ mph the water temp stays in the 180-190 range but you get into stop and go traffic and on a 90+ degree day the water temp goes up to 210+ (think the hottest I've seen it is 212) and when the fan kicks on and my legs are burning up, I have had hot bikes but damn this thing really blows some hot air on my legs. I did take mine off-road a little yesterday and of course, the temps went up then as well. I am not bashing the bike at all, I love it and will ride the hell out of it just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same.

Yes I agree-should not have so much heat from a water cooled bike.. On the exhaust side I don't know if anything short of a CAT delete is going to solve it. On the fan side, some sort of small deflector against the engine and before the coil, pushing air away from the bike at 45 degrees might be a solution. The actual heads don't get that hot and don't need the direct airflow from the fan.

Thanks, That's the sort of thing I can imagine but not execute. A single piece of carbon fiber at the same angle might do it. I'm guessing that basically eliminates heat issues on that side of the bike -- what does the owner say?
