My new Corbin saddle will be delivered this week and I'm still waiting for the following from my HD dealer: tank pads, radiator guard, and rear rack mounting plate (in case I decide to purchase a top case).

FYI: I wired the Garmin directly to one of the heated gear plugs under the seat so it turns on automatically when the bike does. The lights are wired directly to the battery via the included relay and include a weatherproof bar mounted switch. The auxiliary usb port is wired directly to the battery via a fused link (usb port has a on/off switch). The Quad Lock phone charger is plugged into the usb port.

Let me know if you have any questions.
You indicated that you connected your GPS to one of the heated gear plugs under the seat. I’m curious how/where you ran the wiring. Which side of the bike did you route the wiring? Did you have to remove the tank?

Thanks!

Have a link for that switched USB plug?

Sorry guys, but I cancelled it. Dealer kept telling me next week, next week. Went to the dark side and got a 1250GS. Still have my Ultra.

That sucks...One we think that they (Dealer) could/would have transferred one from another dealership.

I took mine out for a day's advanced riding with our local Motorcycle Police. Great day. Especially when the cops tell you not to worry about the speed limits once you are outside the urban areas but just go for it (safely). Which is a bit disconcerting when you are doing a ton in what is normally a 60 limit with the big fluorescent yellow bike right on your heels.

They all loved the Pan, despite being sceptical about Harley in general at first. They all ride BMWs for work.

Nothing wrong with going with the grandfather of all ADV bikes. Have fun out there!

I have the same question, along with the type of connection to the plug. Thanks

You'll find it's a well refined bike. Have had four of them with that engine over decades. If you have a dealer near you and they're good then you should have a trouble free experience. Enjoy.

Thanks guys. Have a good dealer about 20 miles away. Too bad cause my HD dealer is 8 miles.
