What did you do to your Pan America today?

Not today, but the last week… Took it on the first really long distance trip. Ran 2400 mile out to Nebraska and back to Tennessee. Some observations. This bike cruises incredibly well. A few days were 9 hours of riding which were no different from my road glide. A chain bike needs more tender care than a belt drive on long trips. I had arranged to have the chain and sprockets replaced on my return. I was surprised at how much an old chain will stretch… Will definitely consider changing it at 15 to 17K instead of 21K.

If that's how you roll... I've always went with performance parts at the end of warranty. I'm not that concerned with wrenching on the bike, I wrench on bikes half the days of the week anyway, both vintage and modern. It's being able to perform diagnostic tasks that concerns me.
I will certainly replace the bike by the end of the extended 2 year warranty period. Probably a '25 Pan America.

Not to it but for it… Just purchased Digital Torque Wrench Adapter and Pan America Tool Kit. I have been searching for “THE” tool kit to carry, and this combo fit all my requirements. This is a definite need for anyone doing long distance riding with the PA.

Today I fitted the R&G racing tail tidy, and also wired up my existing Denali T3 light pods on the rear to act as turn signals. Previously they were only acting as run and brake lights. Now they do run, brake and turn. Very bright and very easy to do once I had the tail off to fit the R&G tail tidy.
The R&G unit really cleans up the back end a lot and gets rid of the droopy OEM plastics. I like it much better.
I also replaced my current short screen with the Puig Touring screen. Initial tests seem very promising. I was doing 80 with my visor up and no problem at all. I am 5'8", was still looking over the screen and the air was over the top of my helmet on the 3rd screen position. More riding tests to come on this, but it seems to be very good. On the downside, it's a clear screen rather than smoked as that was the only one they had at the time. But based on the initial results, I might buy the smoked version when I can get one. It's also pretty big, but if it works well, then I am OK with that as I will probably do 10K miles European touring this summer. Off to Budapest in 10 days for the 120th HD party. 3K miles round trip.

And today, my dealer swapped out the stock battery with an Anti-Gravity Lithium battery free of charge.
What a difference - the bike just starts instantly. I never really had starting problems in the first place, but it would occasionally turn over a couple of times before it fired. Now, it's just BOOM!
The battery meter now shows 13 - 13.2V when I turn the bike on, and when running it sits at a solid 14-14.2 volts all the time.
First impressions are really good. I ordered the remote for the battery well. If I ever need the "Restart" functionality, I won't need to take the skid plate off to press the button.

And finally, in Pan America news I ordered a set of Pirelli Road Angel GT2 tyres for the bike. They will get fitted next week before I go off on a 3K mile trip. I'll be doing close to 10K miles this summer touring around Europe, so thought I would try a set of 100% road sport touring tyres as that's what I will be doing.
I have had zero issues with the Michelin 80/20 tyres currently on the bike, but am interested to see what a 100% road bias tyre feels like on it.
