:-) Maybe. I don't have the mounting plate for the top case, but yeah. It was still only a two beer job though!

Lightbulb 2 dry bag/tent support post installed for a 2 weeks Span trip 2ppl

In order to gain luggage room (bcs the 2 sport bags are really too small for 2 ppl 4 2 weeks, see sig-pic) I have constructed out of a hydraulic line (20 mm, 2 mm wall thickness) a support post to carry either 2 dry bags longitudinal, or in my case I splittend the large tent/mattress/sleeping bag combo of Wingman into 2 rolls to keep the top case. With all that stuff and 2 ppl on the bike I am aiming for easier off-road trails as much as possible on my way to Barcelona.

And I have a recommended mod: longer gear shifter lever. Shifting is now silk.

At KM 11.000 I had my motor dying and got it replaced, and this new engine is smooth and running like hell (silked-hell ;-) Was a pain to wait 12 weeks, but I am much happier now. Also the avg temp went down from 92° to 85° at 25° ambient. Nice side effect: I got rid of all error codes, the bike stopped error coding 100%.

I'm riding it to the dealer this AM to drop it off for 20K service. Also for them to look at the suspension which still doesn't lower all the time. Code that comes up every time I ride is front position sensor short/ground.

Today I relocated my Denali D4 aux lights. They were originally mounted hanging from the front of the crashers like the HD mount kit. I was never really happy with that, so I bought the Denali Pan America specific mounts and moved them up. They now sit at around the same height as the main beam and look much better there IMHO. You can see the difference in this photo - sorry, but no finished photo with the fairing back on....

I also bought the Denali mount for their Soundbomb horn and fitted that (note that in this pic the D4 light is not aligned and I haven't tidied the cable routing yet.....)

Much better. Much louder and the Denali D4s are set to strobe when the horn is pressed. Can you see me now ************?

I really like how those ring lights turned out in the tail lights.

I added the Sport Side Cases. Installation was a breeze. Keying the locks, not so much. Thanks to a YouTube video it only took about 15 minutes. T G Shorts, if you’re on the forum, you are the man!

Default 1,000 Mile Service

I just had my 1,000 mile service done at Adamec HD. A little over $500 but I feel like it validates my warranty. I’ll probably do the 5,000 mile inspection myself and the 10,000 at the dealership.

I cleaned mine for the first time in months.

Oh - and last week I bought the extended warranty from HD for another 2 years. $500, which I think is fairly reasonable. Dealer actually gave me a nice discount off that as they had the bike for quite a while last year waiting for parts.
