Spent the weekend camping at Two Wheels Only in Suches, GA. https://twowheelsofsuches.com Meet another PA rider just before leaving for home. We both must have looked like kids discussing their new Christmas toy with the grins on our faces.
Then when I got home had a surprise from Denali, My D4 front lights and the new Dial Dim controller unit had arrived, so of course I had to start working on the install. I am about 75% done and was able to test the install. Damn these lights are bright!! I also took the opportunity to adjust the headlight which was low.
Can’t wait to finish the install tomorrow.

I got back from a 2,000 mile trip to the Black Forest in Germany. We had three Pan Ams (and 9 other, lesser Harleys) in our group and none of the bikes missed a beat.
The Pans were of course much, much faster on the twisty mountain roads. The Pan group would be 5 minutes or more ahead of the rest of the back by the time we got to the top or bottom of a mountain!
The roads there are sublime. Hit me up if anyone is planning to go riding there as I have some lovely routes.

Well today I actually received, yes actually received my Denali T3 plug and play turn signals. The end of 6 months waiting. Don't you love that phrase "plug and play". Well about 3 hours later...
I'm pleased with the result. It's really bright and so much better looking than the OEM lights.
If you're thinking about fitting a pair, here's some advice about fitting. Here is the order in which to do things. It'll save you hours... the instructions are not clear at all.
• Pull off the nose fairing.
• Start by taking off the front crash bars on both sides.
• Take off the small plastic covers hiding the electric plugs each side of the steering head.
• Unplug the turn signal cables now rather than later.
• Unscrew the 2 x bolts on the front and 2 x bolts on the back of the side fairing parts.
• Unscrew the bolt that holds the fairing onto the frame on each side.
• Now you can take off the 2 side fairing parts and take them apart. Don't try to do it with them still on the bike. There's about 5 screws I think and you then have to turn the 2 matt black parts at 90° to pull apart.
• Unbolt the OEM turn light and replace with the Denali one and put the fairings together being careful to route the cable neatly.
• Now you can fix the fairings back to the bike, followed by the crash bars.
So all you have to do is plug in the lights. At this point the Denali instructions miss out an important detail. If you have bought the plug and play cable with the lights you only need to plug the adapter between the new light and the main harness.
I say this because I spent an hour wondering what the third plug on the adapter was for - it's in case you want to keep the original lights and bypass them. Which you don't want to do. So ignore the extra plug on each adapter.
There is a detailed YouTube video for this installation which is where I finally worked out that the third (black) plug is not used.
