What did you do to your Pan America today?

Between the side cases, top case, a 35L dry bag on the pillion and the ability to strap more dry bags to the top of the panniers you indeed can carry a rediculous amount of gear. I can easily fit a weeks worth of riding clothes and 2 extra pairs of shoes in my SWMotech dry bag alone. All these big ADV bikes are serious pack mules.

A week into Slovenia Offroad on the Trans European Trail (TET)
Tracks: https://transeurotrail.org/slovenia
Me and my son, a iron cast pan, a HOBO firewood stove (The Road Kitchen – wingman-of-the-road (wingmanoftheroad.com), a gas stove, camping chair, dressed for 0 degrees up to 20 degrees, sun and rain, a massive 2 person tent made of heavy canvas and foam mattress (TOUCAN – wingman-of-the-road (wingmanoftheroad.com) , a combat knife, a secondary nav-iPhone beside the TFT, all the food and dishes, clothes, a stuffed animal (with it's onw sleeping bag) a spare T-Shirt and socks, spare oil and all the tools, powerbank and shower stuff.
Yes it fit's on this amazing Bike. And Yes, you can still blaze all the mountains up and down, on dirt roads and on no roads. It was 1600 km in Offroad mode, where the excellent motor has torque to crawl uphill steep at 1800 rpm.
formidable food truck
where to mount the 2 folded foil, the phone holder
sidescreen to the TFT
gas stove, truck and navigator
next time: never ride alone or sweat to get the truck out of the mud.

Just a quick follow up on the Mizu struts - I just read a thread on a French HD Forum talking about these struts. Saying it was impossible to put the bike on the center stand with them so I just checked in my garage. It is more difficult than before and you have to pull up a bit more. Before I just relied on body weight to rock the bike up and over. So panic over for me. I don't put my bike on the center stand often anyway and I have had the handle recall fix so all is good. I think that without it, it might have been tricky.

Hi MDMoto,
I used a cardboard, and cut with a scissor the outline, starting with the bike/mounting side. Bend it 2 times and press it against the screws to find the drilling points.
The Screws were replaced with longer ones (painted front side black ofc) to use the original from the side deflector.
Then I outlined it on a metal sheet, and a grinder with a thin blade (on wood surface) made me cutting it. File the sharp edges. Bend it in the vice with a plastic-hammer.
Drill the holes and paint it black (imho the fastest colour) . Dry and mount. The Velcro is the "genderless" 3M Velcro, which is taped with a strong double tape on both the phone and the metal sheet.
If you like I can send you my old cardboard or photo on checkered paper. It endured 1600 km trip with pothole roads and many miles offroad. Flexible, lightweight, cheap and durable. If you mount the phone more vertical and up, you can use your iPhone parallel as a dashcam ;-)
