I swapped wheels with a guy that got a new PA. Two reasons, my bike is "road oriented", and I didn't care to have the spoke maintenance. I got his new tires as consideration, and he paid for the swap. I'm happy, he's happy.

Yup with the specific harness set.

Installation was easy… Drill hole in hand guard to feed wire through. Screw down each light. Run cables down to each side of the front end. Remove cover to front shell from around head light. Remove two covers on each side of bike that protect the light connectors. Install the supplied harness between stock turn signal and bike harness. Reconnect lights. Reverse previous steps.

One complaint… screws are used of the LED’s to be attached to the hand guard. Would rather have seen a small bolt and nut combo. Will watch to see what happens.
Thank you for your detailed reply, I’m waiting for these to become available in the UK 😁👍

It's a Wedge Fairing brand. I had to make my own mounts and I added the vent, but I understand that they have a Pan Am in their shop making mounting brackets they can offer for sale. It's 18% smaller than the standard pre-rushmore RG fairing. Works well.

I added several SW-Motech options (shift lever, heel guard left, extension for brake pedal, brake cylinder guard & brake fluid reservoir guard).
The screws that came with the brake cylinder guard were too long so I used some M6-1.00x25 stainless steel screws that I picked up at Lowes.
For me the shift lever & brake pedal extension made a big difference.

So what was it like ? I just came back from a week in the UK - but in my car with daughter and grandson of 1yr - seems England is one big traffic jam. Family time was good but the traffic...
I would really like to find an excuse to take the PanAm over for a few days. On my own !

It was awesome. I learned that I could do stuff on the bike I would never have thought, and also that the bike can do way more than that. I am currently editing up a video from all the GoPro video I shot and will post it when done...

On the traffic though, it's not so bad (unless you are in towns), but if you are on a bike, filtering (lane splitting) is legal and expected.

Did you notice the weight reduction with the cast wheels. 14 lbs may or may not be noticeable but it would reduce wheel inertia for accel and decel. Just wondering.

14 lbs would be a pretty good savings on weight for just wheels. I didn't realize the cast wheels where that much lighter than the spoke wheels. I'm looking at PA but do like the look of the spoke wheels though
