Adjusted headlight aim, think the dealer wanted me to die since it was pointed down. Checked cornering light adjustment, adjusted clutch and brake handles and checked for any obvious loose bolts. Planning on putting a few break in miles in tomorrow 😃

 

put a heat guard over the catalytic converter-that bitch gets hot when waiting at a stop light unless I'm wearing my tall boots. FWIW, you need 4" hose clamps to install it, not the 3" they come with.

Spent Thursday through Sunday at March Moto Madness, great little ADV rally, camped three nights. Got in just over 220 miles of off road with 7 Pan Americas. Bike did very well. A couple Pan Americas entered the Trials for big bike class. Matt did very well in it. 500cc and less class was one by a friends sun on a 300KTM. 8th time the 15 year old had rode the bike.






My tent behind the bike, sleeping bag, air mattress , battery powered lights all fit in the right side hard bag with room to spare.







15 years old, 8th time on that KTM 300 and he won the class.

 

Looks like it was a blast! Sorry I missed you, was there Friday for a couple of hours, met a cool guy from on here with an orange PAS, think his name was Todd. Definitely going for the weekend next year.

 

Rainy day here in Appalachia so I installed the Camel ADV gut guard. Far beefier than the stock unit. Install was a breeze, took less than 20 minutes.
