Man, I would've loved to have gone, definitely going to attend the next one.

We were lucky enough to have the class just after the national trainers had spent a week training-the-trainers. So there was almost a one-to-one ratio of instructors to students if needed. Lot's of experience was available. The nice thing to hear is that more HD dealers are getting certified to offer this training, so I highly recommend you ask your dealer if they are looking into it. The expressed interest may just push them forward if they are hesitating.

Learn a lot about moving your weight around, sliding the rear tire, and also power sliding it so TC is off for the class as is ABS.

This was the 4th ADV Class for MSF, and this class was the one done so it can be added to the Harley Riding academy.

I highly recommend taking the class. Like a beginner class it gives you lots to practice which will be very useful off road. I believe all the students enjoyed the class, and we all learned.
Great meeting you and spending the day with a fellow enthusiast. We will need to plan some rides for the area... preferably with no hillside u-turns😂

TN-Squirrel, below pointed out we had lots of guys getting certified to teach this. More dealers will be offering it in the future.

Get in touch with SMHD about the class. Maggie is who runs and sets up all the classes. You will have a blast, and learn a lot.

Planning on coming for the day Friday or Saturday, likely the former. If it's ok, I'll message you beforehand and maybe we can meet up.

There is no cell service at the MMM valley site according to there last e-mail, That said I'll try to check for messages, and especially if I get to areas with service.

Bought this 2.7 lb. AGV K6 to wear while I'm doing something to my PA, like riding it. Went to buy a SHOEI, bought this instead.

My RF-SR is about done I think. Thinking about a Neotec but I hear good things about the K6, what are your thoughts so far?

It was cheaper than the Shoei. I've always been a Shoei fan until now. It's lighter, quieter. The shield has a latch that forces it tighter to the gasket, and the shield release is easier and smaller, and it also has a pinlock. I've been wearing modulars, but they are noisier and heavier. Plus, I wanted the extra protection of a true full face. The helmet shape is designed to prevent collar bone injurys in the event of a crash. The AGV is Snell and DOT. I can't get over how light the thing is due to the fact it's carbon fiber. I'm very pleased.

AGV K6 - Full-face motorcycle helmet, lightweight and comfortable - AGV
