Today I had my bike serviced and updated by the dealership. They did the seat base recall, the cold weather infotainment update and I now have the extended Hill Hold time and the bigger fonts on the display. Nice!
They adjusted the gear shifter up a bit for me as well - which I am more than capable of doing myself, but while the bike was with them, I figured they could do it.
My heated grips had quit working a couple of weeks ago and they diagnosed that to a fault in the wire from the grip to where it plugs in. New grips ordered under warranty and will be here next week. 2 minutes to instal when they arrive.
The left hand mounting point of my steering damper is rusting, so they are contacting the mother ship about that to see if they can get a warranty replacement
Anyway....all done and up to date and I was even pleasantly surprised with the price - which is about the first time I can say that for an HD service.

I'm not sure if the cold weather and hill hold are on the same flash.
FYI the infotainment updates CAN'T be downloaded by us regular joe's, you'll need a HD tech to download it for you if you want to update it yourself. FYI USB stick has to be FAT32 so if your using windows to format your drive, it needs to be 32GB or less.

There's a couple of updates, the TFT update that adjusts the screen font ISN'T the same as the cold weather recall update. One is a flash (BSM?, cold weather, plugs into the computer) and one is an infotainment update using the USB C port.
I'm not sure if the cold weather and hill hold are on the same flash.
