Got the Farbin airhorn done last week, took it in for 1K service-I complained about the coolant usage- they put a color indicator in the radiator and the oil, will go back in 250 miles for a coolant and oil change. I assume they're checking for a head gasket issue??
Ran electrical from the heated gear plugs for my Garmin Zumo and my Virb Elite camera-. surprise!- everything works on the first go!

Default Added Onyx Premium HD tail bag

I added my Onyx premium Tail bag and have a radiator guard & 80 grit shift peg I will install this week. Love the Tail bag on it.

Did a 500 mile loop with them today. Lots of winding roads, some freeway, and some high winds in heavy rain at 40 degrees coming over a mountain pass. What a contrast to the heat we've until now. The Anakees carve nice, precise turns in the curves, stable at freeway speeds, and no worries on wet roads. No dirt roads in today's travels, but I suspect these tires behave pretty much like the stockers there also. Same manufacturer with same technology and almost same tread pattern as oem, no discernible difference in ride, to me.
In the immortal words of Jackson Brown "you take Sally, I'll take Sue, ain't no difference between the two..."

Out of interest, where did you mount the airhorn. If it's the one I am thinking of, it looks very much like a Denali Soundbomb and I couldn't find anywhere I was happy with to mount one of those....

Initially had it on the handlebar, decided this was better

Thanks! That's what I would call the "brute force" approach -but I love the ingenuity. On the Denali horn they specify it shouldn't be out in the weather, so I was looking for a way to hide it behind the fairing (won't work) or potentially inside the left hand side "pod", which I haven't determined yet...

First wash in 2500 miles. Swapped out the horn, cleaned the chain, sprockets, and wheels.

Replaced the air filter. Wasn't particularly dirty but had captured plenty of gravel and pine needles.

Was it a nightmare getting the tank off?
