I picked my PAS up from the dealer yesterday, nice 56 mile ride home. The plug that goes to rear injector was replaced. Heated gear plug replaced. Software checked to be sure it was all the latest version. 5K service completed. Recall for grab handle was completed.

When I got home I installed the nets from SW Motec in the lids. These will be real handy and add usable space. I have gloves, sunglasses, coozies and such in one lid already. I also have the Trax inner bag for each case from them.

Glad you got all squared away….do you have the details on the extent of the recall replacement rail? Does the rail look any different or seem more secure?

Top case showed up a couple of weeks ago. Installed that last weekend. Got a call from the dealer earlier this week that the panniers arrived. Stopped by the dealer today to pick them up and the tank pads and headlight guard also showed up. Will be installing these tomorrow. All of the parts I ordered on June 10th have now been delivered.

To be honest there is no visible difference I could see. As for more secure I would not know, I have never grabbed the hand rial, and I have never had a passenger.

All parts finally arrived after 4 months. Installed the top case last night. Risers are the last to go on.

Just a few errands around town.
Traded the Lowrider S in on it in October, about 2K miles so far.

I've got 1 sitting in my garage just waiting for the motivation to install it.

It's a decent solution, but I just pulled one of my heated gear connectors and positioned it so that it sits between the bottom of the tank and the seat (they ARE long enough). That way you can see it really easily to plug into. No fumbling around looking for off to the side once you get on the bike.

Just curious, did you have to remove everything to get to the extra cable length?
