What did you do to your Pan America today?

The Torque curve is measured on the right hand side axis in KNm and shows about 74 ft lbs at 2300RPM and a peak torque of about 96ft lbs at both 4000 and 6500 RPM (presumably due to the variable valve timing)
Although - the right hand scale is actually off by 2 decimal places. Where it shows 12 KNm for example, it should really read 0.12 KNm.
So it looks like a genuine dyno chart, it's just that the TQ scale is in Euro style NM rather than ft lbs. The before/after curves show only mild gains from the slip on muffler, which is again what you would expect.

I put a new tyre on mine today. 3500 miles and I got a puncture yesterday. In the rain.
I plugged the tyre with my trusty Stop 'n Go kit at the side of the road and rode 140 miles home. Then I took the bike into my tyre place this morning to get it professionally plugged from the inside. Sadly, they determined there was a second small puncture within half an inch of the first one so they couldn't plug both holes as they were too close.
So a new tyre was needed. But the Harley branded Michelin Scorchers were not available - and with a delivery date expected to be mid January, I couldn't live with that.
But they had a Michelin Anakee Adventure tyre in stock. This is the standard tyre for the BMW R1250GS and looking at the two together, they are more or less identical tyres. I think HD just put a Harley branded version of this tyre on the Pan Am with a very slightly different tread pattern.
(The side-on part of the screw in the pic didn't puncture the tyre)
So I now have a new "BMW" tyre on the rear. I can't tell any difference at all and if it's good enough for the GS, it's good enough for me. It was also £50 less than the list price of the HD version.

If the bike does have a cat, I think it would be inside the fat part of the header at the bottom. I found this that shows the possible presence of a post-cat O2 sensor, "if-equipped." Mine doesn't have this sensor and I also found the loose wire that would connect to it hiding under the left side of the tank.

Maybe someone will come up with just a "pipe" that eliminates the underslung muffler. I can't for the life of me justify in my mind replacing the big stock muffler for just noise. Besides....the bike makes all the horsepower, in stock mode, that I will ever need. All of them have the cat.

There's not enough profit in producing just that under slung muffler replacement pipe. With that part removed to use as a template I don't see why a decent muffler shop couldn't bend up replacement pipe.
I ran my scope down the stock upper muffler it's straight through no internal baffles.

I was lucky enough about a month ago to pick up 1 screw and 2 nails in about a week and had a hell of a time getting a new rear tire ( to many plugs for my l liking, but it held air ) Only choice was getting it from a HD dealer and they a had to get one from a dealer halfway across the country. I couldn't save any money by getting the tire you have nobody had any in stock. Your also very lucky to have a shop that will patch a tire, very few will do it over here because of legal liability.
It certainly seems that tyres are hard to come by right now though. My tyre shop told me the Anakee was the last one he had and everything is back ordered now. I lucked out!

Yep - and there's really no reason other than that not to professionally plug a tyre from the inside. As long as the hole is small enough and in a central part of the tyre carcass, it will be just fine. I've ridden thousand of miles at high speeds on professionally plugged tyres.
