Curious to see if anyone in the SoCal area would be interested in meeting up? Would be cool to meet some people in person and hang out.

There is a local bar called "The Garage" that has good food, pours good drinks and would make a cool meet up spot.

There are other places too like Moes & The Shack in Playa Del Rey by the beach.

If we had enough people committed i could get the Garage to even reserve the bar for a few hours for just us.

We could also do a nice ride... Start in Playa Del Rey and head up highway 1 into Camarillo... Take Pleasant Valley Rd to Santa Rosa Rd... To Moorpark Dr then hop on the 23 to the 118 and free way ride a bit and connect to the 405 to come back and end up at The Garage for some beers and food.

 

That's not too far from me, like a 20 minute ride. Haven't been out too much though on the bike lately, work is slamming me like crazy. Probably won't be able to do any rides of that duration, but maybe can meet up for a bite sometime.

 

Are you north or south of there? We could meet half way on a ride but I am fine with just a casual meet spot as well.

Do you really? Ha! I live near Palms & Exposition so me and my buddy ride by all the time for beers and food.

Its a cool place man, as far as West LA bars go its my #1

I had an idea of doing a once a month bike night there.

Lets see if we can get some more people in here and we should totally do a meet up at the garage!

 

I'm over on the east side by the other side of L.A.

Used to live on the Westside but moved to the east side suburbs to be out of L.A. City.

In any event, don't matter to me, a ride is a ride.

I'm game for a ride and cold beer! I live right off the 405.

 

We have a few options for rides, just want to see if people want to make a day out of it or just something simple.

The map i posted would be like a half day ride with about 2 or 3 stops before ending up at a place like The Garage.

I am game for just a simple meet up or a ride.. Although even a short ride would be kind of cool.

We should have more members in the area... We should plan something two weeks out and whoever can make it then that is the group!
