Bluerose, no way you are taking a cage.
I found this very fashionable rain suit at Lowe's for 10 bucks.
It's canary yellow so it's stand out making it safer.

If you don't have time and would like one or two of these very fashionable rain suits
give me a call Friday (I have the day off) between 8 to 12, and while I am running errands,I'll, pick it up for you.

My number is on the list Primo emailed earlier.
Ha Ha Ha That is extremely fashionable! I've just been really really busy...boss is out of town so I'm pulling double duty at work.

Hubby is starting to cough and has tickle in throat too....[:@]

Really I'm crossing my fingers! I need only 250 miles to my 5000 but hubby comes first.

you've always got these from cycle gear as well...pretty cheap

i think the biggest thing to keep in mind when choosing rain gear is that you want something that is kind of compact, so it doesnt take up that much room when you are carrying other things...

but heck, i dont have any either, but keep thinking i should get some soon...

Well you can skip the Ventura Harley stop ifit was just for us. Hubby announced this morning that with the way he is feeling he does not want to ride. [&o]

I seriously just think part of it is that he does not want to ride in the cold and risk the wet.

But we have the hotel so we are going and will meet you guys there. Someone just buzz my cell phone when you get there. Ride carefully!

Bummer Bev but health comes first. We will call you two when we get to the hotel and hope we can all dine together.

Drive safe and stay warm for the rest of us!

Yeah, he would be miserable with a cold coming on in the cold/wet weather on the bike.

Don't worry we will be there!

By the way... Since we are taking the cage we will have room for 3 adults in the back seat in the case the weather turns particularly nasty we could bring some wives/girlfirends/significant othersdown as far as San Fernando.

And /or we can also load the back with items you may not want to get wet. (be sure they fit on your bike so you can take them once we are back down to the valley)

If anyone or anything wants/needs to ride up with us contact me via PM (cause I'm at work) and we'll make arrangements. Until 5PM I'm at the north west side of the valley.

Oh and If you want to pick us up...we can still be at the VenturaHarley Dealer andplay chase car.

Looks like the wife and Iwill also end up taking the truck to Santa Maria. I want to ride but the wife is scared of riding on wet roads and is really looking forward to going so looks like we're driving. We will be in a 05 white Yukon and will still meet up to follow.

I'm really praying that the weather clears up over night.[sm=smiley19.gif]
