No, sorry, that's the same small size map as before for me. That's ok, I'm familiar with a lot of that route except I haven't been on the 33 or the N3 yet, and not sure what route that Chatsworth part is, is that Topanga Cyn Blvd? I think there may be some nice twistys in the hills to the west. Looks like a great ride.

 

If your interested in joining in on this ride, it's now a month away, and i have narrowed down the meeting time and place. meeting time is 8:30am, leaving at 9am from the Mobil gas station at 3240 Cahuenga Blvd., Hollywood, CA 90068.

Wow, that teaser video is great! Reminds me of when I used to ride sportbikes... I am not sure if I can make it yet, but hope to. That is quite a route you have planned. Very impressive indeed...

 

it is with great regret, that I must inform all who were going to go on my Tour of the Twisties ride, next weekend on Saturday, May 12th, 2007,

HAS BEEN CANCELLED...

2 weeks ago I crashed my bike in the rain up in Santa Maria, and while i thought i would be able to ride it just for the ride on the 12th, the dealership where i am getting it fixed claims it isn't safe to ride until they fix it up...
which means i am out of a bike until all is fixed, which will take quite a few weeks.

Sorry to cancel at the last moment...but i didnt find out about my bike (which will cost about $5000.00 to repair) until just today.

this ride will be rescheduled at a later date, that i will hope will work for all.

Once again, sorry to have to cancel the ride, but I can't lead a ride without a bike. Hope you all understand.

 

ok...well the May day for the ride has come and past.
now, on to the rescheduling of this ride...

Please offer opinions as to the dates that would work best for this ride...
Next try, earliest, option, August, 4th or 18th. (i'm skipping over the sturgis weekend).
it's a very long time off, but anyone know if there are any major events on either of those dates?

 

What happened to June?

 

i crashed my bike.

it has been at the Simi dealership for a few weeks, and will be for probably all of June, while i wait for the parts to come in and them to repair it.

so June is out.

and July has a lot of events.
as does August, but i am thinking August 4th would be a good saturday to do this ride again.

 

I'll look for it tomorrow at the Metal Mayhem Bike Show.
