We rode a loop that started in Ojai, taking Hwy 150 west to Santa Barbara, then Hwy 154 north to US 101, to Santa Maria.
Then West on Hwt 166 to New Cuyama, then Hwy 33 south to Ojai.

Stopped in Solvang for a few hours. Overnighted in Santa Maria. It rained overnight, but we didn't get rain on the ride. Stumpy's bike wouldn't start the next morning, and gave him problems all day long. We had to jump start it and push start it several times.

Highways 166 and 33 from Santa Maria to Ojai, is about 120 miles of heavenly riding. Spectacular vistas of snow-capped mountains behind miles and miles of grasslands. The 33 up and over the Santa Ynez Mountains and down into Ojai is very twisty.

Accident scene on Hwy 33, just north of the Sespe Gorge. A guy on a Yamaha YZF took a curve too hard, lost control, and went off the side of the road into some trees and grass. He broke his leg. His bike was toast.
